Very nice German violin, the top “SIR-A” model from the workshop of Helmut Illner (prize winning luthier). Attractive, shaded and mildly-antiqued orange brown varnish. Two piece flamed maple back. Matching pegs, tailpiece and chin rest in a striking reddish-tinged timber. Fully set up by our in-house luthier and fitted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold strings to enhance the strong and clear sound to suit an advanced player or soloist.
