Description

A typical French trade violin in good condition and with a very pleasant sound.  7/8 size suits a smaller stature person who perhaps struggles with a larger “full size (4/4)” instrument.   Overall good structural condition but with a couple of minor f hole “wing” cracks (repaired) and a couple of damaged corners on the belly.  Medium brown classic French varnish with light scratching and some marking.   Very nicely flamed maple back and sides.

Checked and adjusted for correct playing by our in-store violin repairer.  Fitted with Pirastro Tonica strings and a German Wittner tailpiece with built in fine tuners.  The instrument is supplied in a shaped case.
