4/4 “Gliga II Series” Cello with an oil finish (allows superior sound compared to the cheaper nitro-cellulose finish sometimes offered). More advanced (than Gliga III) student level instrument handcrafted in Gliga’s well-established Romanian workshops. Outstanding value-for-money European instrument. Features higher grade (than Gliga III) sycamore maple back, neck and sides, similar grade resonance spruce top, ebony fingerboard and proper inlaid purfling. Smooth, warm sound with good volume for enjoyable playing experiences, this has proved consistently to be a very popular model for advancing players seeking a more rewarding sound from their instrument.
Outfit includes heavy duty padded bag and “Articul” carbon fibre bow. Fitted with upgraded “Opal” strings.
