Very good condition and sounding Gliga cello (apparently purchased direct from Gliga in Romania!).
Gliga II Series cellos have an oil finish (allows superior sound compared to the cheaper nitro-cellulose finish). More advanced (than Gliga III) student level instrument, they’re handcrafted in Gliga’s well-established Romanian workshops. Outstanding value-for-money European instrument. Features higher grade (than Gliga III) sycamore maple back, neck and sides, similar grade resonance spruce top, ebony fingerboard and proper inlaid purfling. Smooth, warm sound with good volume for enjoyable playing experiences, this has proved consistently to be a very popular model for advancing players seeking a more rewarding sound from their instrument.
Outfit includes ABS resin hard case with wheels and TWO “Articul” carbon fibre bows. Fitted with Larsen A & D strings.
