Since this is a microphone and not a pickup, it preserves the actual sound of your violin (for better or worse!) rather than turning it into an “electric violin” which tends to happen with most pickups.\u00a0 \u00a0The transmitter\/mic unit mounts securely on the side of the violin with a sturdy instant screw on\/off mount that attaches (without marking the violin at all) alongside the chinrest.\u00a0 Volume adjustments can be made with the up\/down buttons on the transmitter unit.<\/p>\n
