Since this is a microphone and not a pickup, it preserves the actual sound of your violin (for better or worse!) rather than turning it into an “electric violin” which tends to happen with most pickups.\u00a0 The tiny microphone mounts directly behind the bridge using a special cradle that clips easily on and off the strings.\u00a0 The transmitter unit mounts securely on the side of the violin with a sturdy instant screw on\/off mount that attaches (without marking the violin at all) alongside the chinrest.\u00a0 Volume adjustments can be made with the up\/down buttons on the transmitter unit.<\/p>\n
Multiple units can be used at the same time (we\u2019ve tried at least two, you may get more, perhaps four).<\/p>\n
